My sweet grandmother made this when I was little. I would walk in her door and go to the kitchen and check in the cake plate and see if she had made one...delicious!!!

Ingredients

duncan hines yellow butter cake mix with pudding in the mix

eggs
1/2 c
oil
1/2 c
sugar

8 ounce-container sour cream
1/2 tsp
lemon extract

How to Make Sour Cream Lemon Pound Cake

Step-by-Step

  • 1Mix well in a large bowl. Pour into a greased Bundt pan and bake at 350 degrees until it tests done, about 45 minutes. When cool drizzle glaze.
  • 2Glaze: 3 ounces softened cream cheese
    Lemon juice
    Powdered sugar
    Mix the cream cheese and enough lemon juice and powdered sugar to make a pourable glaze.
