My sweet grandmother made this when I was little. I would walk in her door and go to the kitchen and check in the cake plate and see if she had made one...delicious!!!

Ingredients

  • 1 - duncan hines yellow butter cake mix with pudding in the mix
  • 4 - eggs
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 - 8 ounce-container sour cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon extract

How To Make sour cream lemon pound cake

  • Step 1
    Mix well in a large bowl. Pour into a greased Bundt pan and bake at 350 degrees until it tests done, about 45 minutes. When cool drizzle glaze.
  • Step 2
    Glaze: 3 ounces softened cream cheese Lemon juice Powdered sugar Mix the cream cheese and enough lemon juice and powdered sugar to make a pourable glaze.
