BAKE AT 350* This recipe IS from my cousin Jerry Meyer wife Teri. The recipe is easy to cut in half and bake in a 8x8 pan.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 / 2 cups butter, room temperature
  • 3 - ripe bananas mashed
  • 2 - eggs
  • 1 / 2 cups sour cream
  • 1 / 2 cups cold water
  • 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • FROSTING
  • 2 cups brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 6 tablespoons milk or cream
  • 1 cup sifted powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

How To Make sour cream banana cake

  • Step 1
    Combine mix for 30 seconds then beat for 2 minutes put in a 9x13 pan Bake 350* for 35 - 40 minutes Let cake cool and frost (easy to cut recipe in 1/2 and make 8X8 size)
  • Step 2
    Frosting Bring to boil brown sugar, butter, milk or cream remove from heat add powdered sugar and vanilla Let frosting cool a little then pour over cake
  • I added walnuts on top of the frosting  with a big glass of milk it was so good.
    Step 3
    I added some walnuts to the top it's so good with a big glass of cold milk.
