Blue Ribbon Recipe

Notes from the Test Kitchen:
Chocolate, caramel and peanut butter... oh, my! This cake tastes just like the candy bar, and we couldn't be any happier about it.

We loved the flavor when we used a 18 oz. jar of creamy peanut butter... but feel free to use more or less to suit your PB cravings.


1 box
your fav chocolate cake mix
1 jar(s)
creamy peanut butter
1 pkg
cool whip, 8oz
1 jar(s)
caramel syrup, to taste
1 1/2 c
unsalted peanuts
1 bottle
chocolate syrup
1 1/2 c
toll house peanut butter and chocolate chips
3 large
1 1/3 c
1/3 c
1 can(s)
chocolate frosting


1pre heat oven to 350 degrees . prepare cake mix as directed. grease two round cake pans and add cake batter and bake for 29 min
2combine peanut butter and cool whip and beat until smooth ... set aside this will be used to ice your first layer
3when cakes are completely cooled ice your first layer with peanut butter mixture.with your chocolate icing create a border around the cake. add your peanuts and chocolate chips ,syrup and caramel ..... repeat this step for your top layer.
