1 1/2 call purpose flour
-
1/2 csugar

1/4 cbutter, softened
-
1/2 cboiling water
-
1/2 cdark molasses
-
1 tspvanilla extract
-
1 tspbaking soda
-
1 pinchsalt
How to Make Shoo Fly Cupcakes
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Line cupcake pan with liners and set aside. - In a large bowl combine flour,sugar,salt and butter. mix until it looks like a crumb topping. reserve 1/2 cup for the crumbs , set aside.
- Add baking soda to boiling water, stir. This will foam up and will be added to the dry mixture.
- Combine the wet ingredients to the dry and stir well.
- Pour batter into prepared cupcake liners.
- Sprinkle each cupcake with the reserved crumbs and bake.
