After I took this cake to work the first time I was always the one elected to bring birthday cake for parties. I use Glossy Cocoa Frosting on it (I will post that recipe next).

Ingredients
- 2 cups sifted flour
- 4 tablespoons cocoa
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- dash - salt
- 1 cup butter or margerine
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon instant coffee
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 - eggs, slightly beaten
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
How To Make sheath cocoa cake

Step 1Mix flour, cocoa, sugar, soda, cinnamon and salt together in large mixing bowl.

Step 2Bring water and butter to a boil. Add instant coffee and vanilla to water.

Step 3Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and mix well.

Step 4Add eggs and buttermilk and mix well.

Step 5Bake in greased sheet cake pan at 350º for 20-25 minutes. Done when toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

Step 6Frost in pan with Glossy Cocoa Icing (posting next).
