Ingredients

  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 sticks butter, softened
  • 4 - eggs
  • 1 - 12 oz. packages mini chocolate chips
  • - confectioners' sugar, sifted, if desired

How To Make sharon's chocolate chip pound cake

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
  • Step 2
    In a small bowl, combine flour, baking powder & salt; set aside.
  • Step 3
    In a large bowl, beat sugar, butter & vanilla until creamy. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Gradually beat in flour mixture alternately with milk. Stir in chocolate chips.
  • Step 4
    Pour into a greased bundt pan. Bake 70 - 80 miniutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  • Step 5
    Cool in pan 15 minutes. Remove from pan & cool completely.
  • Step 6
    Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar, if desired.
