This recipe takes me back to my childhood. My Aunt Sally Turner used to make this for summer picnics. Aunt Sally passed away in May 2006, but left many of her recipes behing for us to enjoy!

Ingredients
- 1 box white cake mix
- 1 box instant pistachio pudding
- 3 - eggs
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup club soda
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
- TOPPING
- 2 packages dream whip
- 1 cup cold whole milk
- 1 box instant pistachio pudding
How To Make sally's watergate cake

Step 1Preheat oven to 350. Grease and flour pan.

Step 2Beat cake mix, pudding, oil, and club soda. Add eggs on at a time. Beat on for 4 minutes. Gently fold in nuts. Bake in preheated oven 30-35 minutes.

Step 3For topping, beat Dream Whip, 1 box of pudding and milk at high speed until it peaks. Spread on cooled cake. Store in refrigerator.
