This is the best chocolate cake that i've ever made. My mother loves it and i make it every year for her birthday. Very moist, very chocolaty and very delicious.

Ingredients

2 1/2 cups flour
1 1/4 cups sugar, white
1/3 cup cocoa
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
3/4 cup salad dressing (miracle whip)
1 cup water, cold
1 teaspoon vanilla

How To Make salad dressing cake (copy)

Step 1

Sift together flour, sugar, cocoa, soda and salt.

Step 2

Stir in salad dressing, cold water and vanilla; mix well.
Step 3

Pour into two (2) greased and floured 9-inch cake pans or two (2) 8x8 cake pans.
Step 4

Bake at 400F for 35-40 minutes.
Step 5

Cool, frost (or sprinkle with confectioner's sugar) and serve.
