I am usually required to bring this cake for holiday parties. Usually they ask where the cake is before I even get my coat off! Quick, easy and always a big hit!

Ingredients For rum cake
- CAKE

1 cpecans, chopped (optional)

1 pkgyellow cake mix with pudding

3eggs
-
1/2 ccold water
-
1/3 coil
-
1/2 cdark rum
- GLAZE
-
1/4 lbbutter
-
1/4 cwater
-
1 cgranulated sugar
-
1/2 cdark rum
How To Make rum cake

1Grease & flour Bundt pan. Sprinkle nuts on bottom (optional)

2Mix cake ingredients and put in pan. Bake 1 hour @ 325 deg.

3For Glaze: Melt butter in saucepan. Stir in water & sugar. Boil 5 minutes stiring constantly. Remove from heat, stir in rum.

4Carefully pour glaze over cake directly out of oven. Cool, invert on plate.
