I am usually required to bring this cake for holiday parties. Usually they ask where the cake is before I even get my coat off! Quick, easy and always a big hit!

Ingredients
- CAKE
- 1 cup pecans, chopped (optional)
- 1 package yellow cake mix with pudding
- 3 - eggs
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 1/3 cup oil
- 1/2 cup dark rum
- GLAZE
- 1/4 pound butter
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup dark rum
How To Make rum cake

Step 1Grease & flour Bundt pan. Sprinkle nuts on bottom (optional)

Step 2Mix cake ingredients and put in pan. Bake 1 hour @ 325 deg.

Step 3For Glaze: Melt butter in saucepan. Stir in water & sugar. Boil 5 minutes stiring constantly. Remove from heat, stir in rum.

Step 4Carefully pour glaze over cake directly out of oven. Cool, invert on plate.
