rum cake with butter rum glaze
This was my Granny's recipe. The best rum cake I have ever had! And the butter rum glaze just sets it off.

Ingredients
- 1 - yellow cake mix with pudding in the mix
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1/2 cup rum
- 3 - eggs
- BUTTER RUM GLAZE
- 1/4 stick butter
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup rum
How To Make rum cake with butter rum glaze

Step 1mix cake mix with water, oil, rum, and eggs.

Step 2Spray pam in a bundt pan, pour in the cake mix. Bake at 350 for 30 min. or untill nice and golden

Step 3When cake time is down to about 10 min. left start your glaze. In small pan melt butter, the add water,sugar.( DO NOT ADD THE RUM AT THIS POINT) Cook on med heat till boiling, stir all the time! Reduce heat to a simmer, and stir for 5 min. Then remove from heat, add the rum. When cake comes out put on plate and glaze. I like to glaze it with a brush.
