This is very easy and delicious. The alcohol evaporates but leaves a nice smooth flavor behind.

Ingredients

1 box
yellow cake mix
1 small
vanilla instant pudding
4
eggs
1/2 c
oil
1/2 c
water
1/2 c
rum
1/2 c
pecans, chopped

GLAZE

1 stick
butter
1 c
sugar
1/4 c
water
2 oz
rum

How to Make RUM CAKE

Step-by-Step

  • 1Mix first 6 ingredients well.
  • 2Sprinkle nuts on bottom of greased tube pan. Pour batter on top.
  • 3350 for 1 hour or until done. Cool completely before removing from pan.
  • 4Glaze - Mix ingredients and boil 1 minute. Add the rum and cool glaze. Place cake on plate and pour cooled glaze over the top.
