Rum Cake

Ingredients

·1 cup chopped pecans

·1 pkg. yellow cake mix

·1 3 3/4 oz pkg. vanilla pudding
-
·4 eggs
-
·1/2 cup each cold water, vegetable oil and rum
-
GLAZE
-
·1 stick margarine
-
·1/4 cup water
-
·1 cup sugar
-
·1/2 cup rum
How to Make Rum Cake
- Grease and flour a bundt pan. ( I use Pam )
- Sprinkle pecans on bottom.
- Combine remaining ingredients, blending well. Pour batter over nuts.
- Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hr. or until done. Cool.
- Invert onto cake plate. Poke holes in cake with a toothpick.(I use a wooden skewer).
- In saucepan combine glaze ingredients except for rum. Boil 5 minutes stirring frequently. Add rum to glaze last and pour over cooled cake.
