This was one of my Grandma's cake recipe and its a true RUM cake , Its made with rum alcohol.. its very moist and delicious ..yummy

Ingredients

  • FOR THE CAKE :
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 3.34oz. boxes instant vanilla pudding
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1/2 cup rum
  • FOR THE ICING :
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup rum

How To Make rum bundt cake

  • Step 1
    Grease and flour a Bundt pan ; sprinkle the walnuts over the bottom of the pan.
  • Step 2
    Mix the cake mix with the pudding , eggs , rum , water and oil on medium with an electric mixer until smooth.
  • Step 3
    Carefully pour the batter on top of the walnuts and Bake @ 325° for 60 minutes or until tooth pick test comes out clean ; Once cool invert onto a serving plate.
  • Step 4
    For the icing : melt the butter and stir in the water and the sugar ; constantly stir for 5 minutes ; Remove from the heat and stir in the rum.
  • Step 5
    Poke the cake with a fork and drizzle all the icing all over the cake.
