This was one of my Grandma's cake recipe and its a true RUM cake , Its made with rum alcohol.. its very moist and delicious ..yummy

Ingredients

  • FOR THE CAKE :

  • 1 box
    yellow cake mix
  • 1 c
    chopped walnuts
  • 3.34oz. box
    instant vanilla pudding
  • 4 large
    eggs
  • 1/2 c
    cold water
  • 1/2 c
    oil
  • 1/2 c
    rum
  • FOR THE ICING :

  • 1/4 c
    water
  • 1/4 c
    butter
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 c
    rum

How to Make Rum Bundt Cake

Step-by-Step

  1. Grease and flour a Bundt pan ; sprinkle the walnuts over the bottom of the pan.
  2. Mix the cake mix with the pudding , eggs , rum , water and oil on medium with an electric mixer until smooth.
  3. Carefully pour the batter on top of the walnuts and Bake @ 325° for 60 minutes or until tooth pick test comes out clean ; Once cool invert onto a serving plate.
  4. For the icing : melt the butter and stir in the water and the sugar ; constantly stir for 5 minutes ; Remove from the heat and stir in the rum.
  5. Poke the cake with a fork and drizzle all the icing all over the cake.
