Ingredients

  • CAKE:
  • 1 box white cake mix
  • 1 sm package instant vanilla pudding mix, dry
  • 1 1/4 cups root beer (not diet or extract)
  • 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
  • 3 x large egg whites
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • FROSTING:
  • 1 package dream whip
  • 1/2 cup root beer (not diet or extract)
  • 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract

How To Make root beer float cake

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9" x 13" cake pan; set aside.
  • Step 2
    CAKE: Combine all ingredients in a stand mixer w/ paddle & beat until combined.
  • Step 3
    Bake for 30 minutes or until done. Cool completely.
  • Step 4
    FROSTING: In a stand mixer w/ whisk, add all ingredients & whisk until fluffy. Top cake with frosting & enjoy.
