This cake is too good to be true!Its semi homade!My Aunt Elaine gets the credit for this awsome recipe!The other cake in the photo is a box strussel cake!!

Ingredients

- 1 box vanilla cake mix,make.. put bowl aside
- 1 quart ricotta cheese
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 , 6oz. jars of marchiano cherries(cut them in half)
- 2 tbs almond extract
- 1 egg

How To Make ricotta cherry almond cake

Step 1

heat overn 350...butter a rectangle cake dish.make cake mix as directions say...set aside

Step 2

get another bowl pour quart of ricotta cheese 3/4 cup sugar...1 egg and almond extraxt
Step 3

mix for a min. or so...fold in cherries.....
Step 4

pour ricotta mixture in cake pan first.....then pour vanilla cake batter over the ricotta mix....bake 1 hour or check with toothpick
Step 5

dust with powdered sugar and refrigerate 1-2 hours...ENJOY, THIS THIS AMAZING!!!!!!!
