Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter or margerine
- 1-1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 2 - eggs
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 cups diced rhubarb
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
How To Make rhubarb cake

Step 1Cream shortening, sugar, eggs....then alternate dry ingredient with milk. Add vanilla and rhubarb. Mix well, pour into greased 9 x 13 pan. Sprinkle the top of the batter with 1/2 cup white sugar and 1 tsp cinnamon mixed. Bake at 350 deg for 30 - 35 minutes.
