This is a easy and wonderful rhubarb cake recipe. All of the rhubarb and cream sinks to the bottom and makes a delightful custard on the bottom. It has been a favorite with our family for years. Enjoy

box white cake mix follow cake directions
4 c
rhubarb diced into 1" cubes
1 c
1 pt
heavy cream


1Mix white cake mix according to directions on box. Pour cake into a greased and floured 9x13” baking dish. Set baking dish onto a cookie sheet. Sprinkle rhubarb over the top of cake. Do not mix. Sprinkle sugar over the top of rhubarb. Again do not mix. Pour heavy cream over entire top of cake and also not mixing. Carefully place in 350 degree oven and bake for 50 - 60 minutes. Rhubarb will sink to the bottom of the cake making wonderful custard at the bottom of cake. Serve warm
