refrigated~no bake~fruit*cake

I have played with this recipe for years. Hubby and I find this to be our very Fav. of fruitcakes..It is a wonderful gift to yourself, or a wonderful friend or neighbor..Merry Christmas.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound red candied cherries
  • 1 pound green candied cherries
  • 1/2 pound chopped pecans
  • 1/2 pound chopped english walnuts
  • 1/2 pound chopped almonds
  • 1 pound candied pineapple
  • 1 pound box of graham crackers/crushed
  • 1 pound marshmellows
  • 1 small can pet condensed milk
  • 1 pound fresh orange slice candy/chopped
  • 8 ounces box of chopped dates
  • 1 pound dark raisins
  • 1/2 pound white raisins

How To Make refrigated~no bake~fruit*cake

  • Step 1
    Chop all fruits/candy/ and nuts
  • Step 2
    Crush crackers in a food processer (may buy already crushed)
  • Step 3
    In a lg. bowl~pour the marshmellows along with the can of milk. This may be melted carefully in your microwave..or on the stove...You choose
  • Step 4
    Butter a very large pan or dish ~This makes a lot..so be sure to make it large.
  • Step 5
    Pour the melted marshmellows/milk, over all the chopped fruits, candy, and nuts, and raisins..that have been mixed well..blend with either your hands or a very heavy spoon..make sure all is covered. Place in your pan/dish/ and press until very compacted. Cover and refrigate...Cut into small blocks, ready to slice as needed, or to gift..and Enjoy..This lasts for weeks..
