Ingredients
- 2 sticks margarine
- 4 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1 cup water
- 2 - eggs, well beaten
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup smooth peanut butter
- 1 stick margarine
- 4 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 6 tablespoons buttermilk
- 1 box powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
How To Make reese's peanut butter cake

Step 1Heat first 5 ingredients together in medium saucepan until bubbly.

Step 2In a mixing bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, and sugar. Add the bubbly cocoa mixture and vanilla. Beat until smooth.

Step 3Pour into greased and floured 9 x 12 cake pan and bake for 30 minutes in 350 degree preheated oven. Remove from oven and cool completely.

Step 4Spread peanut butter over cooled cake.

Step 5Heat together the 1 stick of margarine, 4 Tbls. cocoa, and 6 Tbls. buttermilk until bubbly. Remove from heat and pour over powdered sugar. Add vanilla and beat until smooth. Pour over peanut butter layer. Allow to cool completely.
