This is a recipe I came across about 10 years ago. I tweaked it some and it is a family favorite!

Ingredients
- 1 package german chocolate cake mix
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 bottle red food coloring
- 1 cup sour cream
- 3 - eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- CREAM CHEESE FROSTING
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 stick margarine, softened
- 1 box (8 oz) powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
How To Make red velvet cake

Step 1Mix cake mix, sour cream, milk, oil, food coloring and eggs together on low for 1 minute. After 1 minute, scrape down sides and mix batter an additional 2 minutes. Divide batter between the two 9 inch pans. Bake 25-30 minutes at 350 degrees.
