Ingredients

  • 1 cup red velvet cake crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons butter, unsalted
  • 2 tablespoons pure vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 8 cups popcorn, popped
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips

How To Make red-carpet red velvet popcorn

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Step 2
    Spread cake crumbs on baking sheet. Bake 8 - 10 minutes or until toasted. Cool.
  • Step 3
    Melt butter, vanilla, sugar, salt; mix well.
  • Step 4
    Toss popcorn with butter mixture.
  • Step 5
    In microwave safe bowl, microwave on HIGH white chocolate chips in 15 second intervals until melted; stir until smooth. Drizzle over popcorn until evenly coated; then toss in cake crumbs.
