Ingredients
- 3 TBSP. ALL-PURPOSE FLOUR
- 1 CUP BUTTER OR CRISCO SHORTENING
- 1 TSP. VANILLA
- 1 CUP MILK
- 1 CUP SUGAR
How To Make red & blue velvet cake frosting

Step 1Cook flour and milk on low heat until thick.

Step 2Cool.

Step 3Cream sugar and butter and vanilla until fluffy.

Step 4Add to cooled flour and milk mixture.

Step 5Beat until mixture is like whipped cream.

Step 6Spread on layers.

Step 7Sprinkle with coconut or nuts if desired.

Step 8Keep cake cool.
