This recipe has been in my family for many years. I can't remember a fall when we did't go to get fresh picked apples and my grandmother making this cake. I still make it every chance I get.

Ingredients
- - 4 cups raw apples peeled and cut up.
- - 2 eggs
- - ½ cup oil
- - 2 cups sugar
- - 1 cup nuts
- - 1 cup raisins
- - 2 cups flour
- - 2 teaspoons salt
- - 2 teaspoons baking soda
- - 2 teas cinnamon
- - ½ teas nutmeg
How To Make raw apple cake

Step 1Add one ingredient at a time and stir well after each addition. Place in a greased and floured 9 x 13 pan or 9" bundt pan. Bake at 350 degrees 45-50 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Good served warm.

Step 2At Christmas I add 6 oz of glaced cherries to add color and make a moist fruit cake.
