Ingredients
- 1 pound raisins
- 3 cups cold water
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup shortening
- 4 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon clove
How To Make raisin cake

Step 1Boil raisins for 15 minutes in 2 cups of water. Add 1 cup of cold water and let cool. Cream together the sugar and shortening. Add raisin (do not drain). Add dry ingredents. Bake at 350 for 1 hr.
