Ingredients
- BREAD MACHINE RAISED DONUTS
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup softened margarine or butter
- 1 large egg
- 3 cups bread flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast or bread machine yeast
How To Make raised bread machine donuts

Step 1Place all dough ingredients in bread pan in the order listed. Select sweet dough cycle. Roll dough 3/8" thick on lightly floured board. Cut with floured donut cutter. Cover; let rise 35 to 45 minutes or until slightly raised. Heat 2 to 3" of oil to 375 degrees. Fry 2 or 3 donuts at a time for 2 to 3 minutes, turning as they rise to the surface until golden brown. Remove from oil. Drain on wire rack. While warm, roll in sugar, or your favorite topping. Cool if frosting them.
