• Step 1
  grease 9 inch round cake pan; sprinkle with half the nuts;
• Step 2
  wash apples, quarter and core; slice each unpared quarter into 5 thin wedges; dip biscuits into melted butter, coat on all sides with mixture of sugar and cinnamon;
• Step 3
  overlap biscuits in pan (15 around edge, rest in the center) with apple slices, tucked in between, peeling toward the bottom of the pan; sprinkle with remaining nuts.
