This is so easy to make and tastes really good. I have made these many years.

Ingredients For quick brownies

  • 1 c
    semi sweet chocolate chips (6 oz)
  • 2/3 c
    sweetened condensed milk (1/2 can or 7 1/2 oz)
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch
    salt
  • 1 c
    nuts, chopped finely (optional)

How To Make quick brownies

    In a double boiler over simmering water add chocolate chips and milk. Cook until chips are melted and remove from heat. Stir in remaining ingredients. Spread into a butter greased 8 X 8 pan. Line the pan with wax paper and grease paper also. Bake at 375 degrees 25 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Turn out of pan onto plate. Peel off the wax paper. Cut into 2 inch squares with a sharp knife.
