The cookies cook into the brownies and, once baked, are a moist and chewy bar. A great dessert for a BBQ, potluck or when you just want to bake something. They're so easy to make, kids can help too.

Ingredients
- 1 box brownie mix, 16 oz.
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 - eggs
- 1 bag chocolate chip cookie mix, 17.5 oz
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
- 1 - egg
- 1 can chocolate frosting, if using, 16 oz
How To Make quick and easy chocolate chip cookie dough brownies

Step 1Heat oven to 350ºF. Grease bottom only of 13x9-inch pan. -
Step 2Make brownie mix as directed on box, using oil, water, and 2 eggs.

Step 3Spread in pan.

Step 4Make cookie mix as directed on the pouch using butter and 1 egg.

Step 5Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls evenly onto brownie batter; press down lightly.

Step 6Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted 2 inches from side of pan comes out almost clean.

Step 7Cool completely (about 1 hour). Then frost if desired. **For brownies, cut into 8 rows by 6 rows.
