I found this recipe in an old cookbook I bought at a yard sale and changed it up a bit and made it my own. My family askes for this as soon as fall rolls around and pumpkins are plentyfull. Enjoy!

Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 4 - eggs
- 2 cups mashed cooked pumpkin
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- CREAM CHEESE FROSTING
- 1 package 3 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 2 cups confectioners sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 6 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
How To Make pumpkin squares

Step 1In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Stir in eggs, pumpkin and oil; mix well. Spread into a greased 15 x 10 x 1 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes or until bars test done. Cool on wire rack. Meanwhile, for frosting, beat together cream cheese, confectioners sugar, vanilla and butter. Add milk and stir until smooth. Frost cooled cake, top with chopped walnuts and cut into squares.
