Ingredients For pumpkin spice bars

  • 4 lg
    eggs
  • 1 2/3 c
    granulated sugar
  • 1 c
    vegetable oil
  • 1 can
    pumpkin puree (15 oz)
  • 2 c
    all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 2 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 tsp
    ground cloves
  • 1 tsp
    ground ginger
  • 1 tsp
    ground cardamom
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • FROSTING
  • 3 oz
    whipped cream cheese
  • 1/2 c
    softened butter
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 2 c
    powdered sugar
  • cream or milk for consistency

How To Make pumpkin spice bars

  • 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9x15 pan. In a medium bowl mix the eggs, sugar, oil, and pumpkin with a mixer until fluffy.

    Mix the flour and remaining dry ingredients together. Then fold into the egg mixture.

    Pour into the pan and bake for about 30 minutes. Let cool completely.

    For the frosting, beat all ingredients together. Add a little milk or cream to get the desired consistency.

    Frost the cooled cake and cut into bars.
