this pound cake is great with my pumpkin ice cream its a must try

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups butter
  • 2 3/4 cups sugar
  • 6 - eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin
  • 3 cups flour
  • 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

How To Make pumpkin pound cake

  • Step 1
    preheat oven to 350 and grease 2 9x5 loaf pans.
  • Step 2
    cream butter and sugar. add eggs, one at a time. add vanilla. add pumpkin.
  • Step 3
    add dry ingredients and stir just till blended.
  • Step 4
    bake about 70 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
  • Step 5
    cool 10 minutes and remove.
