Welcome Fall!! This twist on a classic is sure to be a hit on the Thanksgiving Table! Although it isn't really "Dump" it is made in the same fashion. You'll love the warm flavors and the ease of preparation.

Ingredients

  • 1 can pure pumpkin (29oz)
  • 1 can evaporated milk (12oz)
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 2 - eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 box betty crocker spice cake mix
  • 3/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup each, pecans & walnuts, chopped

How To Make pumpkin pie dump cake

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 and grease a 9x13 baking dish
  • Step 2
    In a large bowl, mix together pumpkin, milk, vanilla, eggs, sugar, cinnamon and ginger until well blended. Spread into prepared baking dish. Mixture will be very wet.
  • Step 3
    Sprinkle cake mix evenly over batter. Pour melted butter over cake mix. Sprinkle nuts over butter.
  • Step 4
    Bake for 50 minutes. Cool and enjoy with ice cream or whipped cream.
