Welcome Fall!! This twist on a classic is sure to be a hit on the Thanksgiving Table! Although it isn't really "Dump" it is made in the same fashion. You'll love the warm flavors and the ease of preparation.

  • 1 can(s)
    pure pumpkin (29oz)
  • 1 can(s)
    evaporated milk (12oz)
  • 1 tsp
    pure vanilla extract
  • 2
  • 1 c
  • 3 tsp
  • 1 tsp
    ground ginger
  • 1 box
    betty crocker spice cake mix
  • 3/4 c
    butter, melted
  • 1 c
    each, pecans & walnuts, chopped

How to Make Pumpkin Pie Dump Cake


  1. Preheat oven to 350 and grease a 9x13 baking dish
  2. In a large bowl, mix together pumpkin, milk, vanilla, eggs, sugar, cinnamon and ginger until well blended. Spread into prepared baking dish. Mixture will be very wet.
  3. Sprinkle cake mix evenly over batter. Pour melted butter over cake mix. Sprinkle nuts over butter.
  4. Bake for 50 minutes. Cool and enjoy with ice cream or whipped cream.
