pumpkin pie cake
I was given this recipe from a good friend. This cake is moist and has all the great flavors of pumpkin pie. I wanted something different one year for Thanksgiving, so I tried this. I am so glad that I did, and my family is too!

Ingredients
- CRUST
- 1 box yellow cake mix (reserve one cup for topping)
- 1 - egg
- 1 stick margarine (i use butter)
- FILLING
- 1 large can pumpkin pie mix(i have used pumpkin and added my own spice
- 2 - eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- TOPPING
- 1 cup of the dry cake mix
- 1/4 cup pecans (i use walnuts)
- 1/2 stick hard margarine or butter
How To Make pumpkin pie cake

Step 1Crust: Mix yellow cake mix, one egg, 1 stick margarine or butter. Spread in 9X13 inch pa.

Step 2Filling: Mix can pumpkin pie mix, 2 eggs, 1/2 cup milk. Pour over 1st layer.

Step 3Topping: Mix nuts, 1 cup of dry cake mix, 1/2 stick hard margarine or butter. Using pastry cutter mix until crumbly. Sprinkly over top (crunchy topping)

Step 4Bake 350 45-50 minutes or until set. Let cool or serve warm with ice cream.
