- CAKE
- 1 package yellow cake mix
- 1 large egg
- 1 stick butter, melted
- FILLING
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 15 ounces can pumpkin (solid pack)
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 stick butter, melted
- 1 box powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
How To Make pumpkin gooey butter cake

Step 1Combine cake mix, egg and melted butter with an electric mixer. Pat the mix into the bottom of a lightly greased 9"x13" cake pan. Set aside

Step 2FILLING: In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and pumpkin until smooth. Add eggs, vanilla and butter; beat together.

Step 3Next add the powdered sugar cinnamon and nutmeg. Mix well. Spread pumpkin mixture over cake batter.

Step 4Bake at 350-degrees for 40-50 minutes. Make sure not to over bake center should be a little gooey.

Step 5Serve with fresh homemade whipped cream.
