This is a very good stand in for a last minute pumpkin pie tasting dessert!

It is fast and easy!

Some of my guests and family have stated "this is as good or better than pumpkin pie!"

Ingredients

CRUST

1 pkg
yellow cake mix
1/2 c
melted butter or margarine
1
egg

FILLING

2/3 c
milk
2
eggs
1 can(s)
pumpkin (15 ounce)
1 tsp
cinnamon
1/2 tsp
ground ginger
1/4 tsp
ground cloves

STREUSEL TOPPING

1 c
reserved crust mix
1/4 c
sugar
1/4 c
butter or margarine, don't melt

How to Make Pumpkin Dessert

Step-by-Step

  • 1Mix the first three ingredients together, RESERVE 1 cup of this mixture; and pat remainder in an ungreased 9x13 pan.
  • 2Beat eggs,milk, pumpkin, and spices until well incorporated. Pour on top of the unbaked crust.
  • 3Mix the last three ingredients until crumbly and put on top of filling as a topping.
  • 4Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes.

    Serve warm or cool. Very good with whipped topping or a scoop of vanilla ice cream!
