My ex-husband's Aunt Treva was an awesome cook and baker. Her recipes were always asked for. She is now in Heaven, I am posting this recipe in her beloved honor.

Ingredients

1 package yellow cake mix(save out 1 cup)
1/2 cup butter, melted
1/4 cup butter, melted
3 - egg
1 can large pumpkin pie mix( spices included)
2/3 cup milk
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
12 ounces cool whip
- chopped nuts pecans (opt)

How To Make pumpkin dessert

Step 1

Grease a 9x13 pan.

Step 2

Mix together with 1 egg , cake mix and 1/2 cup of melted butter.
Step 3

Press into bottom of greased pan.
Step 4

mix 2 eggs with the pumpkin mix and 2/3 cup milk
Step 5

pour over bottom of cake mix
Step 6

mix together the 1 cup saved cake mix, 1 tsp. cinn. and 1/4 melted butter.
Step 7

Crumble or sprinkle over top of pumpkin mixture and bake
Step 8

At 350 degrees for 40-50 min
Step 9

Cool and cover with Cool Whip . Add Chopped nuts if desired.
