I found this recipe on a carton of eggs and the first time I made it my grandpa loved it so much that I make it every Thanksgiving.

yellow cake mix
1 (15oz) can(s)
solid pack pumpkin
1 can(s)
evaporated milk
3 large
1 1/2 c
2 tsp
pumpkin pie spices
1/2 tsp
1/2 c
pecans, in pieces
1 c
butter, melted

How to Make Pumpkin Crunch


  • 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9 X 13 glass baking dish.
  • 2Combine pumpkin, milk, eggs, sugar, pie spice, and salt in large bowl. Pour into baking dish.
  • 3Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over pumpkin mixture. Top with pecans, and drizzle with melted butter.
  • 4Bake at 350 for 50 - 55 minutes, or until golden brown. Cool completely. Serve with whipped cream for topping.
