I found this recipe on a carton of eggs and the first time I made it my grandpa loved it so much that I make it every Thanksgiving.

Ingredients

  • 1 box
    yellow cake mix
  • 1 (15oz) can(s)
    solid pack pumpkin
  • 1 can(s)
    evaporated milk
  • 3 large
    eggs
  • 1 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 2 tsp
    pumpkin pie spices
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 c
    pecans, in pieces
  • 1 c
    butter, melted

How to Make Pumpkin Crunch

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9 X 13 glass baking dish.
  2. Combine pumpkin, milk, eggs, sugar, pie spice, and salt in large bowl. Pour into baking dish.
  3. Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over pumpkin mixture. Top with pecans, and drizzle with melted butter.
  4. Bake at 350 for 50 - 55 minutes, or until golden brown. Cool completely. Serve with whipped cream for topping.
