My husband had this amazing cake at his mom's and he said I must make it. Mind you, he's not much of a cake eater, he loves pies, but this cake stole his heart! I've made it many times, it's always a hit and it's very easy to pull together. You won't beleive how delicious this cake is. Enjoy!!

Ingredients

1 pkg
yellow cake mix
1 can(s)
canned pumpkin, 30 oz can
1 can(s)
evaporated milk
3 large
eggs
1 1/2 c
sugar
4 tsp
pumpkin pie spice
1/2 tsp
salt
1 c
butter, melted
1/2 c
pecans
cool whip

Step-By-Step

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease bottom of 13x9 pan.
2Combine eggs, pumpkin, milk, sugar, spice, and salt in medium bowl. Pour into pan, sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over mixture. Top with pecans.
3Bake for 50 to 55 minutes or until golden brown (watch your pecans, don't let them get too dark). Cool, serve with cool whip.
