This is a unique to my Grandma W pumpkin cake. I never knew anyone else to add raisins to a pumpkin cake.

Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 1/4 cups oil
- 1/2 cup pumpkin
- 4 - eggs
- 3 cups flour
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon salt

Step 1Oven to 350 degrees. Put oil, sugar and pumpkin in large bowl. Beat well, add eggs one at a time and beat well. Sift together flour, powder, soda, cinnamon and salt and fold into batter. Stir in raisins and nuts. Pour into greased 10 inch tube pan. Bake 75 min or until done. Do not open oven door before it has cooked at least 1 hour. Cool slightly in pan then remove to wire rack.
