- CAKE BARS
- 4 - eggs
- 1/2 cup applesauce, unsweetened
- 1/2 cup canola oil
- 15 ounces pumpkin, canned
- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice (more if you'd like)
- FROSTING
- 6 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
- 6 tablespoons butter, room temperature
- 1 teaspoon milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 cups powdered sugar

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease jelly roll pan. Set aside.

Step 2Beat first 4 ingredients to combine. Mix together dry and add to the wet, stirring to thoroughly combine. Pour into prepared pan. Bake 25-30 minutes.

Step 3While baking, beat all frosting ingredients together. If you desire a thinner frosting, reduce the cream cheese to 4oz and the powdered sugar to 2 cups. Frost cake when slightly warm, and enjoy!!
