Ingredients
- 4 - eggs
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups pumpkin, cooked
- 1 cup oil
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 cup nuts
How To Make pumpkin cake

Step 1In the food processor, combine the eggs and sugar until smooth.

Step 2Add the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and raisins or nuts.

Step 3Stir in the cooked and mashed pumpkin.

Step 4Turn the batter into two round cake molds, greased and lightly floured; bake in a preheated oven at 350 for 40 minutes.

Step 5Unmold and stack the cakes, and ice with an orange - tinted frosting.

Step 6NOTE: May substitute raisins for nuts in this recipe.
