A friend of mine turned me onto this recipe after bringing a sample of them to work for me. I fell in love with them, and made them for thanksgiving and the family fell for them as well. It's easy to make and you'll want to make them all year long.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 can pumpkin 16 oz
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • ICING
  • 1 package cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup margarine or butter
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 2 1/4 cups powdered sugar

How To Make pumpkin brownies

  • Step 1
    Heat oven to 350 degrees. In a bowl combine all dry ingredients. Blend eggs, pumpkin, vegetable oil together then blend into dry ingredients.
  • Step 2
    Grease a 15 x 10 pan, then "flour" pan with white sugar. Pour batter into pan, and bake 25 - 30 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean from center.
  • Step 3
    Blend all icing ingredients together and frost brownies when slightly warm - cool.
