Instead of making a pumpkin pie, try these delicious pumpkin pie bars. It has all the flavors of a pie without a crust. We would consider these more cake-like bars than a blondie-type bar, but regardless they are delicious. Fluffy and moist they have the perfect amount of pumpkin flavor. On top is an easy cream cheese frosting that's sweet, tangy, and buttery.

Ingredients

  • PUMPKIN SPICE BARS
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 4 - eggs
  • 1 can pumpkin (15 oz)
  • 2 cups Bsquick
  • 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • CREAM CHEESE FROSTING
  • 3 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/3 cup butter, softened

How To Make pumpkin bars with cream cheese frosting

  • Oven set to preheat.
    Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Batter mixed and poured into a baking dish.
    Step 2
    Mix together ingredients for pumpkin bars and pour into a greased brownie pan.
  • Pumpkin bars baking in the oven.
    Step 3
    Bake for 20-30 minutes.
  • Frosting ingredients combined in a bowl.
    Step 4
    For cream cheese frosting, mix together ingredients and use a hand mixer or large mixer to blend together.
  • Frosting spread over cooled pumpkin bars.
    Step 5
    Frost brownies when they are cooled.
