15 ozpumpkin, canned or cooked

MIX THE ABOVE INGREDIENTS IN LARGE BOWL. SIFT THE FOLLOWING & ADD TO ABOVE, STIR

2 cflour
-
1/2 tspsalt

1/2 tspcloves
-
2 tspbaking powder

2 tspcinnamon

1/2 tspnutmeg

1/2 tspginger
-
1 tspbaking soda

BAKE AT 350 FOR 25 MINUTES IN 9X13 CAKE PAN

FROSTING:
-
6 ozcream cheese, softened
-
1 tspvanilla
-
3/4 stickbutter, softened
-
4 cpowdered sugar
How to Make Pumpkin Bars
- Mix first 4 ingredients in large bowl.
- Sift the next 8 ingredients and add to the above, stir.
- Bake at 350 for 25 minutes in 9x13 cake pan.
- Mix the last 4 ingredients with mixer in bowl. Use to frost cooled pumpkin cake.
