I found this recipe a couple of years ago. And it was a big hit everyone enjoys this wonderful recipe.

Ingredients

2 c
all purpose flour
2 tsp
baking powder
2 tsp
cinnamon
1 tsp
baking soda
1/4 tsp
salt
4 medium
eggs
15 oz
canned pumpkin
1 2/3 c
sugar
1 c
cooking oil
3/4 c
chopped pecans
6 oz
cream cheese
1/4 c
butter, soft
1 tsp
vanilla extract
2-3 c
powdered sugar

How to Make Pumpkin Bars

Step-by-Step

  • 1In a medium bowl stir together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  • 2In a large bowl beat together eggs, pumpkin, sugar, and oil. Add flour mixture mix well. Spread batter into greased cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes or till toothpick comes out clean. Let cool.
  • 3Cream cheese frosting: Beat together cream cheese, butter, and vanilla. Add powder sugar little at a time till you get a creamy frosting. Make sure cake is fully cooled and spread frosting on and serve.
