Ingredients
- 1 tsp - cloves, cinnamon, allspice - each
- 2 cups - self rising flour
- 2 cups - sugar
- 1 tsp - vanilla
- 3 - eggs
- 1 cup - vegetable oil
- 1 cup - buttermilk
- 1 cup - pitted prunes
How To Make prune cake

Step 1Mix together sugar, oil, eggs and vanilla.

Step 3If using plain flour, also use 1 teaspoon of soda and 1/2 teaspoon salt

Step 4Cook in 9x14 pan. At 325 for 50 t 55 minute

Step 5For the sauce use: 1 cup white sugar, 1 tsp soda, 1 tablespoon Karo white syrup and 1/2 cup buttermilk. Add one stick butter or margarine. Boil until forms stiff drop from spoon. Pour over cake while hot and still in the pan.
