Ingredients For prune cake

  • 1 c
    oil
  • 2 c
    sugar
  • 3
    eggs
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1 3/4 c
    flour
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 tsp
    nutmeg
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1 tsp
    all-spice
  • 1 c
    buttermilk
  • 1 c
    chopped nuts
  • 1 c
    pitted prunes, chopped and dusted with 1/4c. flour

How To Make prune cake

  • 1
    Blend the first 4 ingredients until smooth. Mix and sift dry ingredients and stir into wet ingredients. Stir in buttermilk, prunes, and nuts. Place mixture in 13x9-inch oan or two loaf pans. Bake at 350F for 45-50 minutes, or tested done. Optional-frost with vanilla frosting or glaze.
