praline pumpkin dessert

Not sure if you want to serve cake or pie?? LOL .. this is the cake and the pie!! BTW, you can chopped walnuts for the pecans.

Ingredients

  • 1 can pure pumpkin
  • 1 can 12 oz evaporated milk
  • 3 - eggs
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 - prepared super moist yellow/white cake mix
  • 1 1/2 cups pecans, chopped
  • 3/4 cup butter, melted

How To Make praline pumpkin dessert

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare a 13x9x2 baking pan (I use a glass casserole) with non stick spray for baking. Mix pumpkin, milk, eggs, sugar, and spices together until smooth. Pour into pan.
  • Step 2
    Sprinkle DRY cake mix evenly over pumpkin mixture. Sprinkle chopped nuts evenly over dry cake mix. Drizzle melted butter all over top of nuts.
  • Step 3
    Bake uncovered 50 to60 minutes, or until knife inserted in center of dessert comes out clean. Allow to cool completely. Refrigerate. I serve it with a dollop of cool whip. Men love this recipe!!!
