graham cracker crumbs
3 Tbsp
3 Tbsp
butter, melted
24 oz
cream cheese, softened
3/4 c
brown sugar, firmly packed
2 Tbsp
unbleached all-purpose flour
3 large
2 tsp
vanilla extract
1/2 c
chopped pecans


maple syrup
pecans, halved

How to Make Praline Cheesecake


  • 1Combine crumbs, granulated sugar and butter.
  • 2Press onto bottom of 9-inch springform pan.
  • 3Bake at 350 for 10 minutes.
  • 4Combine cream cheese, brown sugar and flour, mixing at medium speed on electric mixer until well blended.
  • 5Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  • 6Blend in vanilla; stir in chopped pecans.
  • 7Pour over crust.
  • 8Bake at 450 for 10 minutes.
  • 9Reduce oven temperature to 250 and continue baking an additional 30 minutes.
  • 10Loosen cake from rim of pan.
  • 11Cool before removing rim of pan. Chill.
  • 12Brush with maple syrup.
  • 13Top with pecan halves.
