Praline Cheesecake

1 c
graham cracker crumbs
3 Tbsp
3 Tbsp
butter, melted
24 oz
cream cheese, softened
3/4 c
brown sugar, firmly packed
2 Tbsp
unbleached all-purpose flour
3 large
2 tsp
vanilla extract
1/2 c
chopped pecans


maple syrup
pecans, halved


1Combine crumbs, granulated sugar and butter.
2Press onto bottom of 9-inch springform pan.
3Bake at 350 for 10 minutes.
4Combine cream cheese, brown sugar and flour, mixing at medium speed on electric mixer until well blended.
5Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
6Blend in vanilla; stir in chopped pecans.
7Pour over crust.
8Bake at 450 for 10 minutes.
9Reduce oven temperature to 250 and continue baking an additional 30 minutes.
10Loosen cake from rim of pan.
11Cool before removing rim of pan. Chill.
12Brush with maple syrup.
13Top with pecan halves.
