pound cake with rainbow sprinkles
My grandaughters love sprinkles, so I made this for them. They call it a "Rainbow Princess Cake", my grandson just says cake please Nanny. Enjoy

Ingredients
- 3 cups sifted flour
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup softened butter
- 3 cups sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon orange extract
- 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
- 6 - extra large eggs
- 1 cup rainbow sprinkles
How To Make pound cake with rainbow sprinkles

Step 1Preheat oven to 350. Grease and flour a 10 inch tube pan. Sift together flour, salt and baking soda, set aside. Beat together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Blend sour cream, add all extracts. Add eggs in one at a time, alternating with flour mix and beat well after each addition. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake 70 minutes. Check after 60 minutes, depending on your oven. Allow to cool in the pan.

Step 2Glaze: 1 1/2 cups conf. sugar, 2 1/2 teasp. milk, 1/8 teasp. salt, 1/4 teasp vanilla, 1 teasp. butter, a little bit of sprinkles. Melt butter and mix rest of the ingrediants. Glaze cake and put sprinkles on top if more is needed. If you don't want to glaze it you don't have to.
